The Tournament of Simulations (or ToS) is an annual simming/play-by-post role-playing competition.
Description[]
ToS is open to sims and play-by-post role-playing games of all types and genres. During the tournament, judges evaluate participating sims/games, either live or by reviewing transcripts of recent sims/games. After all the participating sims/games have been evaluated, the top sims/games are announced. Sims that do not place are not be revealed. Awards are issued in numerous categories, which vary by year depending on the number and types of sims/games participating.
There are no standard graphics for victors - each winning site can create their own.

History[]
ToS was conceived of by ISO Troi, and first held by the Simming League in 1999. While the League strived to hold the tournament annually, shortages of judges and/or participating sims scuttled the tournament in 2000, 2003–04, and 2008-10. After the Simming League closed in 2012, ToS became an independent entity run by Chas Hammer. In 2012, the tournament was organized by Charles Star and branded as the Simulation Cup, before reverting to ToS in 2013.
