Cover page of the 2014 version of My Simming Memoirs

My Simming Memoirs is an autobiography written by Chas Hammer about his simming career. It mainly focuses on his adventures in the late 1990's and early 2000's within Trek Online (TOL) and the Simming League. The original version was published in 1997 to coincide with TOL's first anniversary. It was then significantly expanded and edited from 2003 to 2005. Chas Hammer was awarded the 2004 Simming Prize for Literature for this version of the Memoirs, which was posted on the web.

In 2014, Chas Hammer released the final version of the Memoirs in pdf format, which corrected prior editions for grammar and accuracy. While many have praised My Simming Memoirs for its detail, pacing, and insight, others have criticized it for inaccurately painting events as one-sided or for leaving out key details and context. It is 229 pages long.
