Member Focused Simulations (MFS) was a Star Trek sim club that existed on America Online from ca 1997 to the early 2000s. Founded by Jeffrey David Sorenson, MFS was one of the first simming republics and remained a small, tight nit club through its existence. Noted for its neutrality, its members played a leading role in mediating disputes within the simming community, and were active in the founding of the Simming League. MFS was awarded the Simming Prize in 2001 for a "government that has proven remarkably versatile, even managing to survive transfers of power from one leader to the next."
