A key can be a metallic physical item or digital, in the form of a plastic credit card or application on a device, that can be used to unlock doors, safes and other items of interest that require some sort of security. Some keys can be used only once, think of a pass into a theme park, and others can be used multiple times. Keys can be quest items as well.
