Garrison Powers (also Cmdr Hawke) is a former Star Trek simmer who was active from 1998 to 2002. He was the founder and commanding officer of the USS Lionheart.
History[]
United Space Federation[]
From 1998 to 2001, Garrison Powers was a member of the United Space Federation, simming on the USS Integrity, Starbase Everest, ISS Reciprocity, and Outpost Cousteau. His peers during this period included Sierra M'Hawarr, Seth Cotis, and USFCaitlin. For a short period, he served as executive officer of the Integrity as Cmdr Hawke.
Starfleet Legacy Alliance[]
In 2001, Powers became the executive officer of an independent sim, the USS Maverick. He left to create his own sim, the USS Lionheart, which joined the Starfleet Legacy Alliance the same year. The Lionheart became wildly successful, and Powers won the SLA's first "Host of the Year" award.
From 2001 to 2002, Powers was elected consecutive terms to the SLA Council, serving two terms as expansion chair, and one term as personnel chair. He was promoted to Fleet Captain, and later became head of Shakaar Fleet.
Simming League[]
In 2002, Powers was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Simming League. He made only one ruling as Chief Justice, which was quickly ignored and forgotten by the Senate.
Leaving Simming[]
Late in 2002, Garrison Powers disappeared from the simming community.
