In the game "Dungeons & Dragons" there's dice to be rolled for the resistance of the creature, or object. Resistance is, for example, the scales of a dragon. A sword can easily cut the head off of a Jabberwocky if it's sharp enough- there's even a specially crafted vorpal weapon to slay Jabberwockies specifically because of this but for a mightier dragon the sword may clang off the dragons neck because of the resistance of the scales. Hencewith Dragonologists have figured out many variable methods of slaying dragons through piercing, sabotage, and more.

There are no real dragons on Earth, but there are Role-Playing games. It is our duty to train in the case of an out-break of demons, or sorcerer's, by taking life serious to play the games while we train barbarically or imperially for our futures.

One character is enough, but some people have died as one character and so create another. If you would prefer to not die as your first character (which is you in the easiest heraldic possibility {unless you chose to pretend to be some other human instead of you as your character}[You should make it yourself]) there is a Dungeons & Dragons book called "Dungeon Delve" where there are 20-40 adventures. You should do these solo. Once you are ready you will know how to attain being a Dragon Slayer.

This is the Dragon Slayer Quest for Dungeons & Dragons:

You must enter the Dungeon & Dragons Adventurer's League near you.

You must obtain a set of full plate armor and shield made from scale, hide and bones of a dragon by level 8. At 10, must acquire enough bones, teeth, talons to build a Dragon Fang Bastard sword.

There are two ways to enter a Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer's League: There's instantly & there's by formal request.

The training to ask formally is to study D&D character classes to learn yourself qualities, and what made those personalities that got them to that possible career they have gotten themselves to for several years. If you do it correctly you didn't miss-out on any of your childhood and when you began to work for money to sustain your life you'll remember about all the training you did and enter the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer's League as nothing less than a Barbarian, Arbiter or Battle-School Knight. [Regardless you need to create a notation packet explaining your heralds class; for example a Weapon-Master CLASS, Sell-Sword SUBCLASS with a SHADOW BRINGER background.]

If you are more on the nobler side of characters (such as Kings/Queens, Princes/Princesses, Paladins/Dames, & Overlords/Baron/Baronesses, for instance) then you should request to join when they are finished with their current adventure. Otherwise you'll be sworn in by your notation packet, which is a herald decree to be included as nothing less than a Champion, Avenger, Mercenary, or even a Soldier of Fortune. {Those were simply examples}

The choice is yours of course.

Here are the requirements for the Prestige Class of Dragon Hunter: Climb (Strength), Jump (Strength), Swim (Strength), Concentration (Constitution), Handle Animal (Charisma), Knowledge (Dungeoneering)(Intelligence), Knowledge (Geography)(Intelligence), Knowledge (Nature)(Intelligence), Craft (Intelligence), Search (Intelligence), Heal (Wisdom), Listen (Wisdom), Profession (Wisdom), Spot (Wisdom), Survival (Wisdom), Hide (Dexterity), Move Silently (Dexterity), Ride (Dexterity), Use Rope (Dexterity).
