Changes: Defiance Fleet

Defiance Fleet was a Star Trek simming Fleet that was founded on September 15, 2020 by Michael Meezo and Greg Thompson. The USS Avalon launched as the fleet’s flagship under Captain Michael Meezo, and the USS Ferrera launched soon afterwards under Captain Thomas Devoe (Thompson).

in November 2020, after voicing his concerns on how little recruitment the fleet was attempting to do, and suggesting a restructure of the fleet to enable it to compete with the “bigger fleets”, Michael Meezo resigned his position in the Defiance Fleet admiralty and left the fleet. This left the fleet in the hands of Greg Thompson and Dorothy Peters.

In May 2021, the fleet hierarchy made the decision to close the fleet for good due to consistent inactivity across its remaining ships. Some players had not posted for months, and others were AWOL.
