David Ball is a role-player and creator of OngoingWorlds. He is the host of Blue Dwarf, a Red Dwarf sim he created in 2000, and the administrator of Ongoing Worlds, a role-playing community website he created in 2010.

Biography[]

David lives in Derbyshire, England.

Growing tired of limitations due to hosting his Blue Dwarf sim on Yahoo! Groups, David Ball began developing the Ongoing Worlds platform in November 2008. He believed that a website specifically designed to host play-by-post games would be more effective than Yahoogroups, forums, and other similar sites. His goal was to create a system that could not only archive posts, but also neatly organize characters and other sim information. After tinkering with his new site for over a year, Ball officially launched Ongoing Worlds in January 2010 with its primary mission to host independent role-playing games.
