A candle is an object consisting of a solid block of wax in a certain shape, often cyllindrical, with a wick embedded in the aimed center. It is mostly used to provide light, but can also be used to measure time, as well as set wooden and other things on fire. Additionally, in some religions or cultures people may turn towards a candle as source of light to pray or wish for something.
