Brett Gann was a Star Trek simmer from 2001 to 2003 and 2009 to present, game manager of the USS Pegasus from 2012 to present, and Commander-in-Chief of Sixth Fleet from 2012 to 2013.

Tango Fleet

Brett joined Tango Fleet in 2001 and completed command training in 2003. He served aboard the USS Octavian, USS Dragonstar, USS Hyperion-D, Starbase 98: Intelligence Team IV, Starbase Tango, USS Pegasus-D, and Deridous IV simulations. He left the fleet during college (c. 2003).

As a Tango Fleet player, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and earned the Starfleet Star, Captain's Star, Decoration of Gallantry, Cross of Distinction, Act of Distinction (x2), McCoy Cluster, and Command School Ribbon.

Sixth Fleet

Brett joined Sixth Fleet in 2009. He played Chief Science Officer Lieutenant Commander Sterling Badr-Garret on the USS Bismarck-C until 2012. He has also played Commander, now Captain, J. Loren Ackerman on the USS Pegasus since 2010. Originally the Chief Engineer, he now plays the Commanding Officer.

In 2011, Brett was nominated for the position of Commander-in-Chief. He narrowly lost the election to Nathalie Chapman, who later appointed him Chief of Fleet Communications. On March 15, 2012, the Fleet Command Senate elected Brett Commander-in-Chief. His term ended in 2013.

Brett also participates in the Sixth Fleet Academy and Department of Creative Resources.

As a Sixth Fleet player, he rose to the rank of Commodore and earned the Starfleet Star, Order of Meritorious Service, Meritous Unit Citation, Citation of Valour, Conspicuous Service Cross, Commendation for Brave Conduct, Cross of Distinction, Act of Kindness, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Long Service Medal (x2), General Service Medal, Senior Instructor Ribbon, Instructor Recognition Ribbon, Conn Expansion Course Ribbon, Operations Expansion Course Ribbon, and Science Expansion Course Ribbon.
